Actual work:
Audit and audit of institutions under sub-contract, senior office meetings, subordinate office review meeting proceedings, inspection under section 89A, scrutiny of defect rectification reports, trial audit proceedings, revision audit proceedings, scrutiny of audit reports, e-governance proceedings, interest refund scrutiny, Right to Information proceedings and other proceedings as per the orders of senior office, carrying out proceedings with the help of subordinate auditors and taluka auditors and controlling these proceedings and related proceedings.

Functions:
1. To provide support to the Office of the Hon’ble Cooperative Commissioner and Hon’ble Divisional Registrar of Cooperative Societies (LEP), Mumbai Division, Navi Mumbai, in relation to the audit of cooperative societies in Raigad district under Section 79 and 81 of the Maharashtra Cooperative Societies Act.

2. To follow up on the audit of cooperative societies in the district under Section 81 of the Maharashtra Cooperatives Act and on the defect rectification report under Section 82, to follow up on the trial audit under Section 81 (3) (a) and to follow up on the re-audit work and to coordinate with all the audit offices in the district and control their work.

3. To follow up on the recovery of government audit fees in the district,

4. To control the budgetary work of the subordinate audit office in the district through coordination,

5. To approve orders on establishment matters of Class-2, Class-3 and Class-4 employees in subordinate offices in the district and to control them.

6. To conduct office inspection of subordinate audit offices in the district and to control their work.

7. To bring important and necessary matters in the district to the notice of Hon. Cooperative Commissioner and Registrar Cooperative Societies, Maharashtra State, Pune and through Hon. Divisional Joint Registrar, Cooperative Societies (LEP), Mumbai Division, Navi Mumbai.
